All around the world people are living in poverty, going hungry and being denied access to the basic services they need to live a decent life. RESULTS is determined to end this blight on our planet. It’s a tough mission that won’t be accomplished overnight, but it is possible. RESULTS believes that the power of ordinary people in the developed world can make a crucial contribution to achieving change. Together with individuals, families and communities in the developing world, our voices can convince governments in the developed and developing worlds of the need for coordinated action to solve the many problems that cause poverty and deprivation around the world.
Our efforts and resources are targeted at the areas and issues where we can make the biggest impact. Our current campaigns focus on global health, basic education, microfinance and sanitation.
Global Health

Basic Education
Today, reading and writing ought to be basic skills for everyone, yet nearly one in five of the world’s adults are illiterate. Education is critical in the fight against global poverty: without it countries cannot develop.
Microfinance
Giving poor families, especially women, access to financial services can have a dramatic effect in helping them to escape poverty. It can allow them to manage their income, avoiding 'hungry periods' and sustaining self-employment.
Child Survival
An estimated 8.1 million children worldwide under the age of five die every year from largely preventable causes. Malnutrition and a lack of access to basic sanitation and safe water contribute to the majority of these deaths.
