RESULTS is looking to hire a Nutrition Advocacy Officer to join our health team!

Salary: £26,000 to £29,000 per year depending on experience

Location: Vauxhall, South London

We  have an exciting opportunity for a well organised advocate to join our team as a Nutrition Advocacy Officer. The role will be responsible for implementing our nutrition work to build on the momentum of the 2013 Nutrition for Growth Summit through to the follow-up summit planned for Brazil in 2016. You will also work to ensure nutrition is well-represented in the Post-2015 framework.

The postholder will develop and lead our advocacy on nutrition issues. You will have good experience in advocacy, and of issues of under-nutrition in developing countries. You will manage a Nutrition Advocacy Assistant and work as part of a dynamic team of eight health advocacy specialists. There is plenty of  scope for innovation as our work expands in the run-up to Rio in 2016.

The Role

The post holder will have strong advocacy experience and have the ability to quickly get up to speed on new issues. Experience on nutrition is essential as is experience of advocacy in the UK (and if possible in the EU). You would ideally have a broad understanding of nutrition as well as how it fits into the overall context of Child Survival in order to ensure we continue to have a strategic impact.
