November Conference Call- Commit to nutrition now! (Event organising)

2 Nov 2021

November's action is a final push in our nutrition campaigning this year, ahead of the Nutrition for Growth (N4G) Summit, a global pledging moment for tackling malnutrition. RESULTS action groups are encouraged to organise an advocacy event, with the aim of getting as many letters as possible sent to Foreign Secretary, Liz Truss urging the UK to commit to tackling malnutrition. So in this month's conference call, we heard from Sophie Willis and Tahira Kulsoom, Field Organisers at the Aid Alliance, about event organising. They shared many tips and ideas about running events from the work they do with volunteers around the country.

Check out our 'Commit to Nutrition now!' action materials for more information on this month's action, and send and share our e-action template letter to Liz Truss! If you want to connect with advocates from other countries working on nutrition, come along to our Meet the Youth Leaders for Nutrition event on Monday 8 November.

We also heard a roundup of what's been going on in the world of international development in the UK recently, and what our grassroots network has been up to.
