Our guest speaker on the call was Saul Geurrero, Head of Technical Development at Action Against Hunger UK. Saul spoke about the need to develop strong accountability mechanisms for ensuring that governmental pledges to fight undernutrition, made at this year’s ‘Nutrition for Growth’ event in London.
The call marks the launch of our November action in which we are calling on the UK Government to implement an accountability framework to ensure delivery of their financial and policy commitments made at that event, and to track progress globally on tackling undernutrition.
