The unfairness of the rich world’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement in 2020 revitalised debates on whose voices are valued in society and listened to by politicians. To help ensure our campaigning on global poverty doesn’t perpetuate harmful narratives of ‘us versus them’ used in some international development debates, the theme of the 2022 RESULTS National Conference is ‘The power in all our voices’.
How can we stand up for equality?
We will be exploring the ways we can strengthen our own voices as campaigners and amplify the voices of people with lived experience of poverty and oppression; confront damaging perceptions in international development; and learn how to respond positively to global challenges and stay positive in the face of adversity.
Will you be part of improving the world we live in?
Join us for our first ever hybrid conference, as we grapple with emerging issues both in the UK and globally, and use the power of our voices in pushing for an end to global poverty.
See the full agenda and speakers on our National Conference website.
What is the format of the conference?
The conference will be held both in-person and on Zoom.
Sessions will run from 9am-5pm on the Saturday and 1:30pm-5pm Sunday.
There will be plenty of breaks, lunch is provided on Saturday for in-person guests. Please note, if you need help with travel costs to London, speak to a member of the RESULTS Campaigns team on email@example.com as we cannot guarantee travel reimbursements.
If you are joining us online you can join all sessions via Zoom. These tickets are unlimited and we recommend you join as many sessions as you can to get the most out of the conference.

Who is this event for?
Anyone with an interest in campaigning and advocating for an end to global poverty and injustice is welcome, whether you are only just starting out as an advocate or you have been with RESULTS for a long time.
If you are not familiar with RESULTS, you can hear more in our welcoming session on Saturday morning. There will also be a chance throughout the conference to speak to the Campaigns team and ask any questions. In the meantime, check out our 'get involved' page.
As we return to face-to-face events we have safety measures in place. If you plan to reserve an in-person ticket, please read about these on our website. This is to ensure everyone has a good time, but in a safe way to ensure we continue to protect each other and our communities.
