‘Before the Flood’ documentary screening
Storytelling and film are one of the most powerful mediums available to communicate ideas and issues and touch, teach, inspire and motivate the world. Why not organise a film screening of Leonardo DiCaprio’s new documentary ‘Before the Flood’ and fundraise for RESULTS? It’s easy yet has a huge impact on our work!
‘Before the Flood’ is a three year journey documenting the dramatic impacts of climate change around the world. Throughout the film, Leonardo DiCaprio meets with decision makers and influencers across the world and seeks to discover what must be done today to prevent further catastrophic disruption of life on our planet.
The film is available across a variety of digital and streaming platforms as part of a commitment from National Geographic to educate the world about the devastating effects of climate change and is available here.
Organize your own event
Whether you’re a seasoned party host or you’re looking for a way to bring your community together for the first time, there are plenty of ways to fundraise for RESULTS – whilst having fun at the same time. These could include:
- Community event –mad hatter balls, high teas, summer BBQs, film screenings, and clothes swaps are just a few ideas for events you could host locally in your community.
- Bake off – fundraising doesn’t get much more tastier than holding your own Bake Off. Let’s face it, who doesn’t enjoy stuffing themselves with cake? You could even double-up and hold a bake off competition at work or at school and then sell the cakes afterwards.
Whatever you decide on, RESULTS will be with you every step of the way – from supporting you with the planning right through to celebrating your achievements.
