Partnerships Manager (Part Time, 2.5 days)

FTE salary of £36,353

We are looking for a Partnerships Manager who will take the lead in developing and implementing a resource mobilisation strategy across the organisation. The post holder will maintain and maximise support from our existing donors including the ACTION partnership and contribute to the continued diversification of our income by effectively engaging new donors (both in the UK and internationally).  This position will also line manage the Projects Officer who is primarily responsible for project reporting.

This is an exciting opportunity with scope for the post holder to develop and implement a resource mobilisation strategy across the organisation, with a focus on trusts, foundations and major donors, to diverse our income streams and deliver our mission to create the public and political will to end poverty, by enabling people to exercise their personal and political power for change. 

The successful applicant will be responsible for maximising income from grant making institutions by researching funding opportunities and writing tailored, compelling funding applications, including multi-year, multi-country funding applications to a wide range of donors. They will also line manage the Grants Officer who plays a key role in project reporting, championing our monitoring and evaluation work and supporting the development of funding proposals. We are seeking someone with proven success in identifying and building relationships with potential donors and securing substantial grants from trusts, foundations and major donors.
