May Grassroots Conference Call 2020 - The impact of COVID-19

11 May 2020

Thanks to everyone who joined us on the evening of Tuesday 5 May. We started off with a celebration on the Government's recent announcement on their support for Gavi, the Vacine Alliance - a huge campaign win for us and a hugely positive change in the world, with the UK's financial contribution helping to immunise 75 million children in the world's poorest countries.

The main focus of this month's call was to examine how COVID-19 is affecting progress on the health issues RESULTS works on (nutrition, immunisation and TB) in some of the world's poorest countries. We were joined by guest speakers:

Ingrid Schoeman, Operational Manager, TB Proof
Bruce Reilly, Polio Advocacy Officer, RESULTS UK
Naveed Chaudhri, Head of Campaigns, RESULTS UK
