A changing landscape in 2019

2018 has been a tumultuous year of political uncertainty, with attacks on international development spending, but also some advocacy successes! 2018 saw RESULTS working on many important issues, from campaigning on tuberculosis in the run-up to the first ever UN High-Level Meeting on TB, speaking up for aid, and achieving resources for global education.

With Brexit looming, 2019 is set to be another year of change. This month, we’re setting out our campaign plans for 2019. We’ll be asking you to campaign on global health in the run-up to the replenishment of three important global health funding bodies, and continuing to support the UK’s international development efforts.

This month, we’d like you to plan for the year ahead and take part in our ‘Advent of Actions’ for December, promoting Universal Health Coverage in the run-up to UHC Day, sending a Christmas card for your MP on what your constituency has contributed to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria, and contacting the local media to show your support for UK aid.
