2017 was another challenging year, with ongoing political and public criticisms of UK aid spending, which we continued to address alongside many other organisations in our sector. But we carried on with our important advocacy on issues of vital concern to the world's poorest people - securing a pledge of £100 million to fight polio, supporting the Global Partnership for Education, and securing tangible increases in high-level political concern over drug-resistant tuberculosis.
